Cotton is a natural plant fiber whose finesse and softness define the final appearance of the fabric. The material is not insulating but breathable: it does not bring heat in winter and does not offer freshness in summer. The cotton nevertheless allows the heat emitted by the body to pass, making it pleasant to wear in summer. The batiste cotton is a very thin, fluid, slightly transparent canvas. It can be woven more or less tight, which affects its fall and its behavior (a tight woven batiste creases less easily).
